The lighthouse is located in a private community so access from the road is restricted.

Brief History
•  In 1936 the light went from shinning dusk to dawn to staying on 24 hours a day.
•  The front range lighthouse was completed in November 1908, and its light was first exhibited on the night of December 28, 1908.
•  In 1978 the light was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
•  In May 2004 Delaware River and Bay Lighthouse Foundation signed a thirty-year lease agreement with the Coast Guard to take care of the light.
•  Liston Front Range Lighthouse went on the market for $1.2 million in April 2023 and sold for $950,000 two months later.
